Bloom & Blossom

Flowers. Each absolutely beautiful in their own ways, and you can't even argue with me. Daisies, roses, daffodils, sunflowers, hydrangeas: each need a few important ingredients to survive. You know them: sunlight, soil, and water.
Outside, the sunlight is already provided, the soil is in place, and then all that is left to do is wait on the rain.
It doesn't matter how deeply rooted flowers are in the soil, without sunlight, they will not survive. The same goes with sunlight. It can be the brightest month ever, but without rain, they will wilt. And the seed can lay on concrete and be provided with the perfect amount of sunlight and water, yet without healthy soil, it will never bloom.
I think an important lesson can be found in the growth of a flower. And here it is:
---I-I-I--------- N O R A I N. N O F L O W E R S. -------->>
Most of the time, we only like to show our "sunlight," or our "dirt" from where we came from, but it's hard to take pride in the "rain." But, you see, without rain, without difficult times, sad stories, depressive states, or dark gloom, there would be no growth in you, little flower, no blossom. Don't get me wrong, it totally sucks. It sucks so much in fact that's how the flower receives the water, by sucking it up the stem. So, even the flower itself knows how much it sucks. But sometimes, as soon as the next day, the flower is standing taller, looking brighter, and blooming bigger than the day before.
So do not be ashamed of the rain you're feeling today, because it'll be the reason you blossom later. You're a work in progress. Absorb the sunshine when it's there. Keep rooted in your soil. And embrace the rain, like the beautiful flower you are.
