Hey, you came here willingly. You are only to blame for what you are about to read.
Unfortunately, I am not all that exciting. I am a full time student, studying Social Work, and have a sub par part-time job, like most poor college students. I love the night sky and listening to unique instruments and color therapy and the color blue. I will get distracted in virtually every conversation. I like baby animals, but who doesn't?! And of course, you! Because you are so cool, you took time out of your day (you don't have to admit you're still in your pajamas) to read what I have to say. I'd love to convince you I have my life figured out. I'd love to lie to you and say I know what I want. I'd like to encourage you to follow your dreams like I, but I am not going to, because you will figure it out one way or another (because you're brilliant, duh). I'm a mess, a scary mess, but i am redeemed and saved by grace. Do I deserve it? No. Would I ever give it up for the world? Absolutely not!

So why "Selectively Social," you ask. Well, why not, I respond with!
But seriously, I just thought of how much negativity and anxiety social media generates. Trust me, I've fallen victim to it, too. And I've always enjoyed reading others' thoughts and opinions and seeing how they think and perhaps get a different perspective. That's all I intend to do.
And the phrase "Selectively Social"? Well, I feel like it describes me perfectly. And who knows, maybe you too...
I can be super social if I let myself, but there's also plenty of times where I don't put pants on all day and have no desire to communicate with other beings. Naturally, my mental health benefits from these days, just as the super social days that I have. So maybe you agree, maybe you don't. Maybe I will still continue to have my mental health days. No, actually, no maybe about it. I will, I am certain.
